Foundry worker wanted in Sargent County

Now hiring: we are hiring a foundry worker in Sargent County, North Dakota. The job is on the moulding line. The role involves: • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch You should have: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings Full-time with occasional weekends.
