Shuttering and concrete hand — Logan County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a shuttering and concrete hand in Logan County, Illinois. The job is in a residential housing project. The role involves: • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer You should have: • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $5,000 per month, based on your experience. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
