Skimming plasterer — Mitchell County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a skimming plasterer in Mitchell County, Iowa. You will work in an occupied house during renovation. On a typical shift you will patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster; polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush; clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets; dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings; apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork. You should have: • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish $17 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
