CO2 welder wanted in Hocking County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Hocking County, Ohio. The job is on a structural steel site. What we are looking for: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes On a typical shift you will lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead. At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Contact us to fix an interview.
