What we are looking for: • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills Your main tasks: • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine • Segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches • Carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station • Report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter • Top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
