Join our team: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Markurdi, Benue State. The job is on a new-build development. What we are looking for: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks Day-to-day duties: • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
