Now hiring: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Madison County, Nebraska. Ideal candidate: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage You will building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge. 3+ years on the tools preferred. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
