Power float operator — Saint John the Baptist Parish

Immediate opening: we are hiring a power float operator in Saint John the Baptist Parish, Louisiana. You will be based at a ready-mix concrete plant. What we are looking for: • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage Day-to-day duties: • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
