Electronics assembly operator wanted in Barnsley

Vacancy available: we are hiring an electronics assembly operator in Barnsley, England. You will be based at a consumer goods manufacturing unit. Your main tasks: • Tighten fasteners to the specified torque using a power screwdriver or torque wrench • Solder small connectors and check the joints under a magnifier • Apply labels, barcodes and serial stickers in the right position • Top up the line-side bins and call for parts when stock runs low • Snap-fit plastic housings and clip in the wiring harnesses Requirements: • Careful handling of tools and components • Previous experience on a production or assembly line preferred Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
