Now hiring: we are hiring an AC installation technician in Putnam County, Illinois. You will work at a busy AC installation company. Ideal candidate: • Can read electrical and piping schematics • Own set of hand tools, gauges and flaring kit preferred • ITI in refrigeration and air conditioning an advantage Day to day you will insulate the suction line with Armaflex nitrile sleeving; clean filters, blower wheels and condenser coils during servicing; cut, flare and bend copper pipe for the liquid and suction lines; commission the unit and test cooling, heating and airflow; evacuate the system with a vacuum pump and confirm a deep vacuum; core-drill through brick and concrete walls to route the refrigerant piping.
