Tower crane operator — Escambia County

Join our team: we are hiring a tower crane operator in Escambia County, Alabama. You will work at a precast concrete yard. You will keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone. Ideal candidate: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
