Scaffolding labourer — Chickasaw County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a scaffolding labourer in Chickasaw County, Iowa. The job is on a busy construction site. Ideal candidate: • Working-at-height / PASMA training an advantage • Good head for heights and comfortable on open platforms • Reliable, punctual and able to work in a gang Day-to-day duties: • Hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope • Dismantle the scaffold in reverse sequence and lower materials safely • Fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid • Tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner • Inspect couplers, boards and tubes for damage before use • Plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level Full-time with occasional weekends.
