Overlocker operator wanted in Washington County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Washington County, Kentucky. You will be based in a small denim manufacturing unit. The role involves: • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently 6+ years on the tools preferred.
