Now hiring: we are hiring an excavator operator in Kent County, Texas. You will work in an open-cast mine. Ideal candidate: • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery The role involves: • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension 1+ years on the tools preferred.
