Car mechanic — Jefferson County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a car mechanic in Jefferson County, Illinois. You will be based at a tyre and exhaust shop. On a typical shift you will carry out suspension and steering repairs; replace alternators, starter motors and batteries; estimate repair costs and order the right parts; replace exhaust systems and catalytic converters; replace shock absorbers, ball joints and track-rod ends. You should have: • Sound knowledge of petrol and diesel engines • ITI / NVQ Level 3 qualification in motor vehicle maintenance • Own set of hand tools 6+ years on the tools preferred.
