Gang bricklayer — Wheeler County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Wheeler County, Texas. The role involves: • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage 5+ years on the tools preferred. $24 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
