Immediate opening: production assembler (New York)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a production assembler in Cortland County, New York. Day-to-day duties: • Keep pace with the takt time and pass the unit to the next station • Carry out a visual quality check for scratches, gaps and missing parts • Fit and bolt components onto the chassis as it moves along the conveyor • Apply labels, barcodes and serial stickers in the right position • Follow the work instruction sheet for each station You should have: • Comfortable meeting hourly production targets • Can read work instructions and basic measurements • Able to stand for the full shift and do repetitive hand work 6+ years on the tools preferred. $3,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
