You should have: • Able to read measurements, templates and cutting lists • Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy slabs • Steady hand for edge profiling and a fine polished finish The role involves polish stone surfaces to a high gloss using diamond pads and polishing compound; work from cutting lists and installation drawings; grout the joints and wipe off the excess before it sets; cut out sink and hob openings in worktops on site; fill cracks, chips and open veins with colour-matched epoxy resin; restore old marble by honing, crystallising and buffing back to finish.
