Decorator — Charlevoix County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a decorator in Charlevoix County, Michigan. You will work at a busy decorating firm. Day to day you will lay down dust sheets and protect floors and furniture; hang lining paper and wallpaper, matching patterns at the seams; apply primer, undercoat and two topcoats with brush and roller; strip old paint and wallpaper with scrapers and heat guns; cut in neat edges along ceilings, cornices and door frames; work safely from ladders, scaffolding and mobile towers. Requirements: • Able to read colour schedules and follow a finish spec • Able to mix and colour-match paints accurately • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolding Overtime paid at a premium rate.
