We are recruiting: we are hiring a machinist in Sanpete County, Utah. You will be based in a sampling and tailoring workshop. What we are looking for: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams The role involves: • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
