Head butcher — Seneca County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a head butcher in Seneca County, New York. Day-to-day duties: • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers Six days a week, one day off.
