Thermal insulation technician • Howard County, Texas

Vacancy available: we are hiring a thermal insulation technician in Howard County, Texas. You will work at a busy building site. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and off scaffolding • Sharp eye for sealing joints and avoiding thermal bridges • Disciplined about PPE — respirator, gloves and goggles On the job you will handle: • Measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings • Fit acoustic insulation to partition walls and floating floors • Lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding • Seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant • Carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks • Install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
