CNC milling operator — Sheridan County

Now hiring: we are hiring a CNC milling operator in Sheridan County, Kansas. You will be based in a die and mould making unit. Ideal candidate: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work The role involves deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; keep in-process inspection records and log production counts; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
