Vacancy available: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Luce County, Michigan. The job is on the moulding line. You will assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant. You should have: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
