Now hiring: foundry labourer (Minnesota)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Brown County, Minnesota. You will be based in a non-ferrous casting shop. Day-to-day duties: • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together What we are looking for: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
