Container truck driver — Dillingham Census Area

We are recruiting: we are hiring a container truck driver in Dillingham Census Area, Alaska. The job is on long-haul routes across the country. Ideal candidate: • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules • Clean driving record with no recent endorsements • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel The role involves check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels; keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load; present documents at weighbridges and check posts; operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading; report defects and book the unit in for servicing; secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars.
