Urgent requirement: we are hiring an insulation installer in Chatham County, Georgia. The job is in lofts and crawl spaces. Ideal candidate: • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane • Own basic hand tools such as a utility knife and trowel On a typical shift you will torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations; prep, clean and prime substrates before membrane application; work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness; seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant; fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters; install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape.
