Vacancy available: we are hiring a site dozer operator in Howard County, Indiana. Ideal candidate: • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels On the job you will handle: • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals • Follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels • Maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction Full-time, day shift.
