We are recruiting: we are hiring a head baker in Warren County, Illinois. You will work at a cake shop. Your main tasks: • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel You should have: • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Basic cake decorating and piping skills Rotating shifts.
