Butcher — Tillamook County

Join our team: we are hiring a butcher in Tillamook County, Oregon. Day to day you will monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; season and marinate meat on request; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights. You should have: • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler 5+ years on the tools preferred. $200 per day, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
