Marble worker wanted in Powhatan County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a marble worker in Powhatan County, Virginia. You will work in a stone processing yard. Ideal candidate: • Good eye for joints, levels and overall finish • Reliable timekeeping and able to work in a team • Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy slabs Your main tasks: • Lay marble tiles and slabs on floors, stairs and walls with adhesive mortar • Fix marble cladding to building facades with anchors and clamps • Polish stone surfaces to a high gloss using diamond pads and polishing compound • Cut marble and granite slabs on a bridge saw with diamond blades • Work from cutting lists and installation drawings • Shape edges, bullnoses and bevels with an angle grinder and profiling wheels At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
