Counter butcher — Franklin County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a counter butcher in Franklin County, Georgia. You will be based at an abattoir or slaughterhouse. Ideal candidate: • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate You will vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone.
