Urgent requirement: we are hiring a plant operator in Walker County, Georgia. The role involves record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet; clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line; report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter; change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers; monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift; follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine. You should have: • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills • Knowledge of lockout-tagout and machine safety Six days a week, one day off.
