Blocklayer — Greene County

Now hiring: we are hiring a blocklayer in Greene County, Mississippi. The job is on a new-build development. The role involves: • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $4,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
