Tower crane operator — Pike County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a tower crane operator in Pike County, Pennsylvania. The job is at a shipbuilding yard. Day-to-day duties: • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block Ideal candidate: • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Current medical and eyesight certificate 4+ years on the tools preferred.
