Vacancy available: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Jefferson County, Alabama. The job is in a toolroom. On the job you will handle: • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe What we are looking for: • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
