Lawn care technician • St. Helens, England

We are recruiting: we are hiring a lawn care technician in St. Helens, England. You will work in a public park. Ideal candidate: • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance On a typical shift you will prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers; check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads; rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste; maintain compost heaps and the potting shed; sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Contact us to fix an interview.
