Paint and prep technician — Copper River Census Area

Great opportunity: we are hiring a paint and prep technician in Copper River Census Area, Alaska. The job is in a spray booth. On a typical shift you will compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss; strip clean the spray guns and change the booth filters; mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper; blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair; sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting; apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun. Ideal candidate: • Skilled with HVLP and gravity-feed spray guns • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. We offer $4,800 per month plus benefits. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
