Urgent requirement: we are hiring a meat cutter in Todd County, Minnesota. The role involves: • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings You should have: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day 6+ years on the tools preferred.
