Great opportunity: we are hiring a panel welder in Austin County, Texas. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently Day to day you will grind back and re-weld any defective runs; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. We offer $21 per hour plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours.
