Electrician — Wheeler County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an electrician in Wheeler County, Oregon. The job is in a power distribution substation. On the job you will handle: • Carry out preventive maintenance on switchgear and busbars • Run conduit, lay PVC trunking and clip cable • Test insulation resistance with a megger • Size and route cabling to suit the load current and voltage drop • Read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams • Replace faulty switches, sockets and light fittings What we are looking for: • Valid wireman/electrical licence as required by the state • Familiar with megger, multimeter and clamp meter 2+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $2,600 per month plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
