Stitching operator wanted in Oconto County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a stitching operator in Oconto County, Wisconsin. The job is at a knitwear stitching unit. Day-to-day duties: • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation Requirements: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
