Die-casting operator • Floyd County, Kentucky

Immediate opening: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Floyd County, Kentucky. You will work at an aluminium die-casting plant. On the job you will handle: • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities Ideal candidate: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal 3+ years on the tools preferred. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
