Vacancy available: we are hiring a power float operator in Frederick County, Virginia. Ideal candidate: • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours Day-to-day duties: • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors Rotating shifts.
