Steel erection rigger — Gray County

Now hiring: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Gray County, Texas. You will work at a power plant. What we are looking for: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Confident with standard crane hand signals The role involves rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks.
