Plant operator — Thomas County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a plant operator in Thomas County, Nebraska. You will be based on a housing development site. You will backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers; grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient; work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance; work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter; track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport; keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly. What we are looking for: • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control 5+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $5,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
