Bread baker — Rockingham County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a bread baker in Rockingham County, New Hampshire. The job is at a café with an on-site bakery. What we are looking for: • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens Day to day you will shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand; pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls; load and unload the deck oven with a peel; laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter; keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards; score the top of loaves before baking. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer $3,200 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
