Argon welder — Faribault County

Join our team: we are hiring an argon welder in Faribault County, Minnesota. You will clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle. What we are looking for: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day Part-time with flexible hours.
