Now hiring: we are hiring a chef de partie in Lyon County, Kansas. You will be based in a catering banquet kitchen. You should have: • Strong knife skills and speed on the line • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen • Food hygiene / FoSTaC certificate Day to day you will manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs; label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in; monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks; keep the station clean and sanitised throughout the shift; chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat; check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down. Full-time with occasional weekends. $3,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
