Vacancy available: we are hiring a panel welder in Allen County, Ohio. You will work at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. What we are looking for: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium On the job you will handle: • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator We offer $5,400 per month plus benefits.
